Selves.

This summer, in order to cure my itch to photograph, I have created several self-portraits.  Nooooo, I am not particularly narcissistic; I am just available any time I want to photograph. Hope you enjoy.

Creative #6: Self-Therapy

My God.

This past week was insane.

I’ve got to get my head together.                 And I think photography is just the place to do it.

Creative #1: I Get Myself Into Trouble [Self-Portraits]

January 31, 2010 Leave a comment

Jerry wanted us to explore a new take on self-portraits. I immediately thought of depicting some of my attributes that get me into trouble. 😉

My mouth gets me into trouble. I talk often and loudly. I cuss like a sailor. I gossip. I enjoy to over-eat.

Even with a missing ear, I can still hear my own voice in my head. Thought never digresses.

I care about my appearance. Probably too much.

I am constantly checking other people out–what they wear, how they walk, the way they talk. This image really comes down to two things for myself: judgement and attraction.

This is not a series of things I want to fix about myself. These are things that make me who I am.
