Creative #3: Collage

I went through at least 15 different magazines to find the perfect images to illustrate my…thoughts.

The one above is my quirky view on church and God in my life. This image feels torn to me. The sky is ominous while the enlightened figure floats on the left. The little girl could be viewed as running away from the church or running towards the skylift to…heaven.

I just wanted to illustrate my desire to love God, but my uneasiness regarding the church.

I wanted a clean look for my collages. I don’t want anything distracting the viewer from my subjects’ beautiful faces! They are what it’s all about.
