Here is an editorial portrait by Gregory Heisler. I love the vibrant colors of the photograph mixed with the subject’s serious expression.
The next shot is from editorial fashion photographer, Andrea Massari. I really enjoy Massari’s lighting and editing.
Finally is editorial event photographer, Mark Skalny. Skalny shoots in a very blunt, yet beautiful way, which I think is great for events. People want to remember an event how they saw it and experienced it.

This Halloween I decided to document Halloween at college. It sure was interesting. Here are my favorite images of the evening:
Editorial 3: Portrait
For this shoot, I chose to photograph several individuals.
I had them choose five to seven words that described their current selves. It was interesting how deeply honest these individuals were, which I see as a compliment. I find it truly humbling to be confided in enough to even SHARE my subjects’ self-reflections with an audience.
So consider yourself lucky, too.
